Dear 6th grade families, We wanted to make sure a few dates got on your calendar. On Thursday, October 8th, you are invited to attend our family forum to provide feedback on ways DGS is doing well as well as areas the school can improve on. You can attend either a 4:15-5:00pm meeting or a 5:15-6:00pm meeting. We will be in the cottage and snacks are provided. Please RSVP to [email protected] with the session you plan on attending. Two weeks later, on Thursday, October 22nd we will have our Harvest Festival, which is 6th grade's demonstration day. 6th graders are organizing the entire event, from food to games and even clean-up. Harvest Festival will go from 1:15 to 2:30 (we'll spend the morning setting up). It is a great day for your child to show the whole community the amazing learning we have been doing. All students are helping to make this great event happen, so we would love to see you there. Parents are welcome as guests, but we will also need helpers. Please email [email protected] if you'd like to volunteer for an hour or two. Thanks!
Also, don't forget: we are on an excursion Wednesday (Ms Mundt's class walking to Ekar Farm, Mr Potter's class riding bikes to Delaney Farm). If you are interested in being a Chaperone, get in touch with [email protected].
